The last week has been absolutely frantic. The weekend feels like a brief chance to collect my thoughts and prepare for next week. Well it's more like Saturday because I'll be at uni working all day tomorrow if all goes to plan.
After Kristy left University started. If my papers are half as enjoyable as I think they may be then it should be a good semester. As much as I enjoy University I've lost a bit of my motivation for it. I had a bad experience with one paper last semester and it made me really question everything from whether I want to continue studying to whether I am actually a remotely intelligent person! Hopefully once I get further into this semester the motivation will come back. At least all of my research projects are interesting and have practical applications. That said, I don't feel at all regretful about turning down the opportunity to do Masters!
So I was thinking today about tea and coffee. At work people head down to the tea room for their morning tea and afternoon tea breaks and sit around drinking. The problem is that I don't drink it and would feel stupid just sitting there. People just don't sit there, it's all about the shared social aspect of drinking tea/coffee. I don't know what to do because I don't want them all to think that I am unfriendly and avoiding going down there, it's just that I would feel like a twit if I just sat there with nothing to hold or drink. :(

And maybe you could drink water in the tea room? You could put it in a mug still! :)

I thought about drinking water... but a big part of it seems to be standing around the zip and making the beverage.
:) I hope you have been drinking plenty of water as well!

Huh? What course and what do you mean about redoing the proposal? The one I told you to talk to the prof about?
